RE:

Hi Brenda!

I have been working late shifts which means that you are gone home by the time I am getting out and about. So since I can get by there, this email may get us moving towards getting a bike instructor school to come to us. Sgt. Lollie Colon is working with me on this project, and I would like to get by your office with her maybe Tuesday. Sgt. Colon has been in touch with IPMBA and they are willing to send an instructor to us if we have a total of 12 students. We have about 7 or 8 committed already and Sgt. Colon is reaching out to others during the next few days. My hope is that CJI will be the host, and we will provide a student body and logistical support. I am interested in hearing your thoughts on that? As we move forward I am considering turning this over to You and Sgt. Colon, She is extremely efficient and administratively strong, She has been a member of our team for many years.J As for the cost and other details from IPMBA Sgt. Colon is working on that as well.

Please let me know what time Tuesday would be good for us to sit with you and we’ll go from there.

Thanks

Ed

Two Great Video's by CBS: Sunday Morning

Bill Geist Strikes Again!

Watch this great story titled: A Meal to Die For!

When you are done, check out the video CBS did on me back in ’94. It’s about the Fly-in Restaurant Book that I wrote:

Welcome Home

To all my fellow veterans, "Welcome Home!" http://www.usaircombat.com/

Happy New Year 2009!

Plans are being finalized for the 25th Reunion of USAF UPT Class 84-04. The reunion will be held this summer at the Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando. http://www.rosenshinglecreek.com/

The proposed date is Friday, June 26- Sunday the 28th. The hospitality room will open at 3pm on Friday and close at 10am on Sunday morning. Beer and pizza will be served in the hospitality room on Friday evening and the only planned activities are drinking and debauchery.

Saturday's plan includes morning golfing for the men and shopping for the ladies. (Ladies are welcome to golf if they refrain from complaining about beer breath, cigar smoke and the occasional use of profanity.) The afternoon will be spent lounging around the adult pool or jacuzzi.

Saturday night dinner will be at Dave Christner's restaurant Del Frisco's.
http://www.delfriscosorlando.com/index.html This is a high end restaurant, so start saving your nickles and get ready for some outstanding steak or lobster!

After dinner, we will reconvene in the hospitality room. The Grog bowl has remained in safe storage for the last five years. I'm not sure if it will make it's appearance at the restaurant or in the hospitality room, but it will be part of this nostalgic event!

Sunday morning will include a late breakfast and fond farewells.

Best wishes, Heff
